Scholarships

The AEHS Foundation Scholarships and Student Competition support and acknowledge exceptional students in environmental health and sciences. The student competitions provide a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and propose solutions to environmental challenges. Participants submit research papers, projects, or case studies, demonstrating their understanding and innovations in the field. Scholarship winners receive recognition and financial support for their education, encouraging them to pursue careers that contribute to environmental health. These programs inspire young minds to address critical issues and promote sustainable practices, fostering a positive impact on our planet's well-being.

These programs are integral to our founder Paul Kostecki's vision for the Foundation, underlining his goal of supporting and empowering the next generation of professionals dedicated to environmental health and sciences.

Dr. Charlena M. Seymour Scholarship
Dr. David F. Ludwig Memorial Student Travel Scholarship
Dr. Michael E. Miller Student Competition Scholarship

The Association has provided opportunities at these conferences for environmental students to gain both exposure and experience in presenting their research efforts. Through supporters of the Association, students are provided awards for their presentations and others are awarded scholarships to support their on-going research. Despite the sometimes negative perception of the upcoming generations, being on the AEHS advisory board and serving on student award boards has provided me with personal fulfillment that the future of our environment will be in good hands.
